These groups often use manipulation, coercion, and isolation to control their followers and maintain power, leading to psychological and emotional harm. These have increased in the past century. 

The idea of other realms and spiritual beings and cosmic war may be so “far out” as to be unbelievable, but the real facts are part of God’s word.

The current Israeli-Palestinian conflict, characterized by decades of violence and political strife, has been viewed by many as a fulfillment of biblical prophecies regarding the restoration of Israel and the Middle East conflict preceding the return of Christ.

There are social disorder, political polarization, military confrontations and wars — evil everywhere. Why can’t everyone just live in peace? There is an answer to that question, but not many people want to believe it.

Thus, this prophecy tells us that a lower level European leader will officially start to rise up about 3 1/2 years before the great tribulation (and yes, according to Jesus, some “tribulation” does happen prior to the start of the Great Tribulation). Another is the fact that the “beast of the sea” (Revelation 13:1) fits with the beasts from the “great sea” (Daniel 7:2)–and that is the Mediterranean Sea according to the Old Testament–hence this is an empire like the old Roman one (for more details, please see Europa, the Beast, and the Book of Revelation).
